Walmart to lay off 400 personnel are Davenport e-commerce warehouse

The Walmart e-commerce fulfillment heart in Davenport, the firm’s to start with in Florida, will lay off 400 workers by June, according to a Warn notice submitted with the Florida Division of Economic Possibility.  

“There are 400 associates who will be affected by the reduction in force,” wrote Walmart basic supervisor Erin Middleton in the Employee Adjustment and Retraining Notification.   

All impacted associates can apply for open up positions at other Walmart suppliers, Sam’s Club or other organization services during a paid out position lookup interval, Middleton claimed.
